Week at Weegee's (Very Early Alpha)
A downloadable game for Windows and Android
I have been working on this game for about 4 years now. Long story short, I've tried to make this game about 13-14 times across 3 different "Game Engines" (It started in Rec Room, then switched to Unity, and now I switched again to Godot). This is what I have so far, and hopefully this one stays until full release!
I have only been giving game builds to a few friends, and now I want to start making them public, and so this is what I have so far of the game. It will be updating somewhat constantly depending on my motivation, so yeah.
This game will be updated until it is completely finished, at which point it will still be FREE!
Look at my profile to see the controls, there are currently no extra controls in this game.
Multiplayer is still in development, so expect bugs and things not syncing! I am still working on that!
Some things I need to add are:
- The outside
- Gameplay for Nights 2-7 and secret nights
- Arcade Machines
HEADS UP - This game WILL lag in some areas on quest standalone, I am still trying to optimize the game to run well on it, including changing the map.
This will update with bullet points with some stuff I changed between builds.
- First update! I'm working on the multiplayer aspect of Night 1 right now, and this is to test out my progress so far. I still need to change the paths for Weegee, Marcus, and Stickbug because of a map change, but this is just to see if everything syncs well. The model of Emerald is going to change soon to a more modern one that I enjoy more and will be easier to animate. There is also a new thing, and no, I will not elaborate further. Some bugs in this version include the aformentioned animations and the lighting in the main area looking like it does in the Office. I will be fixing these hopefully in the next update.
- January 14 2025 update, Switched over Emerald's model to the new one, which I love. I also have updated Weegee, Marcus, and Stickbug's animations to better match the map change. I have also fixed the main area lighting. Go check out the new Emerald model, I spent a good chunk of time making it look cool :D
- Just taught Stickbug a few manners, now he will retreat whenever you throw something at the vent when he is there.
- January 17 2025 update, multiplayer should be fully working for Night 1. I have only been testing by myself with multiple instances, but this should be it fully working. I also made it so Beanos will never do the red eyes during Multiplayer Night 1 because of the fact that when you have 3 player co-op, the player farthest from the door has no hiding spot from him. I am hopefully going to work on Night 2 or the rest of the map after this multiplayer stuff is done.
